AI Content Generation & Curriculum Alignment

When you click Manage Topics on a subject, you enter the detailed topic management view. For each topic, you have access to the following generation and editing tools:

AI Curriculum Alignment

All AI-generated content on StaxLearn is automatically aligned to:

1. Your school's Exam Body Standard — configured by your administrator in Settings (WAEC/NECO, NABTEB, Cambridge IGCSE, or NERDC Standard).
2. The specific class level — vocabulary, complexity, and scope are calibrated for the exact class (e.g., JSS1, SSS2). Content will never be dumbed down or made overly complex.
3. The Nigerian curriculum sequence — the AI references official NERDC topic sequences so that concepts are introduced in the correct order and advanced topics are not leaked into earlier levels.

After generating a lesson note, the system automatically runs a curriculum validation check. If it detects major issues:

• The note is automatically placed in "Pending Review" (regardless of the Content Approval Workflow setting).
• An amber warning panel appears above the lesson note editor, listing the specific issues detected (e.g., "Uses vocabulary appropriate for SSS1, not JSS2", "Introduces quadratic equations which belong to a later topic").

As a teacher, you can review these flags and choose to edit the note manually or click Regenerate AI to get a fresh version.

Generating and Editing Lesson Notes

1. Click Generate with AI on a topic.
2. The AI drafts a comprehensive, grade-appropriate lesson note.
3. Pasting & Dropping Images: While editing a lesson note manually, you can instantly enrich your content by directly copy-pasting or dragging-and-dropping image files into the note editor. The images will automatically upload and display in-line!
4. Math & LaTeX Support: If you teach Mathematics or Science subjects, the platform fully renders Math and LaTeX equations beautifully within your lesson notes.

Generating Quiz Banks

1. Click Generate Quiz Bank on a topic.
2. Important: If your school requires admin approval, you cannot generate a Quiz Bank until the underlying Lesson Note has been approved. If approval is not required, you can generate it immediately.
3. The AI generates questions distributed across three difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, and Hard. Quizzes also fully support Math and LaTeX rendering.

1. Click Generate Flashcards to create study cards based on the lesson content.
2. Flashcards extract key definitions and concepts to help students memorise important facts. Flashcards also fully support Math and LaTeX rendering.
