Navigate to Curriculum in the sidebar.

Term Tabs

The Curriculum Dashboard features term tabs at the top — First Term, Second Term, and Third Term. Clicking a tab filters the view to show subject cards and topic/note counts for that specific term. This allows you to manage content for different terms independently without overwriting each other.

You will see a card for each subject you are assigned to. Each card shows:

• The subject name and class name.
• The number of topics for the selected term.
• A progress bar showing what percentage of topics in that term have approved lesson notes.

Each subject card has three action buttons:

1. Manage Topics — enter the subject to view and manage individual topics.
2. Upload Scheme of Work — upload a document which the AI will parse into a structured topic tree. Topics are automatically bound to the currently selected term.
3. Clone Content — duplicate curriculum content to another class.

Inside a Subject: The Topic Panel

When you click Manage Topics, you enter the detailed topic management view. A term switcher in the header lets you switch between First Term, Second Term, and Third Term.

Important: If you are viewing a term that is NOT the current school term, a yellow warning banner is displayed: "⚠ You are viewing [X] content. Students currently see [Current Term]."

You CAN generate and edit content for non-current terms — for example, you can prepare Second Term topics while First Term is still active. However, that content will NOT be visible to students until the school administrator advances the platform to that term.

Uploading a Scheme of Work

1. On the Curriculum Dashboard, select the term tab for the term you are preparing.
2. Click Upload Scheme of Work on the relevant subject card.
3. Upload your document. The AI will parse it and present a structured topic tree for your review.
4. Review and confirm. All topics will be saved under the selected term's curriculum block.

Generating AI Content

For each topic, the following content types can be generated:

• Lesson Notes — Comprehensive, grade-appropriate notes. All AI content is automatically aligned to your school's exam body standard (WAEC/NECO, NABTEB, etc.) and class level. An automatic validation check runs after generation; if major alignment issues are detected, an amber warning panel appears listing the specific problems.
• Quiz Banks — 18 questions across Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty levels. Requires an approved lesson note if the school uses the Content Approval Workflow.
• Story Content — Engaging narrative versions of the lesson for younger learners.
• Flashcards — Key definitions and concepts extracted from the lesson note.
